circles and birds

I have an artist a day show up on my igoogle.  Whenever I log on to google I see a new artist and a piece of their art.  Today I was especially distracted by Julia Barello.  At a glance, I saw a circular design which I often think of mandalas.  I went to look closer and saw beautiful birds, much in the style of Braque, and flowing in a glow, like a milky way, or "Starry Night".  When I clicked on the link to see more details I was surprised to see that the work was actually 3-D.  She has cut out recycled MRI and x-ray scans and arranged them to make layers of wall installations.  It's absolutely amazing.  Check it out for yourself!
